question about “Homemade Alternator”?
I would like to know:
1. How to set up the magnet wires(enameled copper wire) inside a homemade alternator… (where to get the positive and the negative poles from a series of copper wires)
2. How can I transfer electricity from alternator to a battery? (do i need to convert the output from the alternator? or just directly link it to the battery?)
please answer separately.. i can easily get confused ^^…
this alternator will be used as a generator of a wind turbine…
if you can post some links that will clarify or somehow related to these questions it would be much appreciated… thanks in advance ^_^

2. You will need a rectifier to convert the ac from the alternator to dc for the battery. It would help to have a voltage regulator to limit how much charge the battery receives.
